Create a Lineup

Create a New Lineup

1. Click Lineups in the dashboard sidebar.
2. Click New Lineup.
3. Choose the Roster this lineup belongs to.
4. Give the lineup a name — something descriptive like Game 1 Starters or Home Batting Order.
5. Set the Game Date, Game Time, Timezone, and an optional Time Limit. Time-limit shortcuts are 1h, 1h 15m, 1h 30m, 1h 45m, 2h, and None.
6. Turn Published on when parents should be able to open this lineup. The roster must be published too.
7. Add players from your roster and arrange them in order.
8. Click Save.

On game day, open the lineup and click Game Mode to start the clock, advance the at-bat, and share the live link. See Run a Live Game.

Reordering Players

Drag and drop players in the lineup list to rearrange the batting order or depth chart. Changes are saved automatically when you drop a player into position.

The number of lineups you can save depends on your plan:

Saving Multiple Configurations

There's no limit to how many lineups you can create per roster (up to your plan total). Save separate lineups for different opponents, different game situations, or different parts of your season.
